BB (playing with textures)

Tattered metal

Concrete Texture

Plane White

I bitmapped them, using existing textures that I downloaded from internet, I'm thinking of making my own textures next time (Though I personally like the original black hue of the model).

Parked (Lighter View)

Here's some renderings of interior experiments with the completed model. It took some efforts to get satisfying lightings to match the overall theme. So I'm still working one it.

Black Bird (Few detail shots)

Bumper (With Headlights)

The Hatch and Driver's seat

Rear Parts (With exhaust pipes)

I was thinking of making a car that can transform into plane, but I think car running on a ground as if its flying over the ground sounds okay (though I'm keeping the former ideas still).

The Black Bird Project (Modeling Completed)

The first rendering of the completed Modeling Project that I worked for more than a month. Each parts of the automobile was built separately as different files, imported, and assembled in MAYA. This is also my inspiration of the concept of Tumblar from Batman movie, and as the matter in fact, some people ask me if this is my version of Batmobile (No it isn't :-) ). So I have rendered it in different textures and different colors, and I will make sure to post them as well, when they're ready. ^_^

Musician (Color Study for the environment)

The color concept for the environment of the short film Musician, as well as the photoshop work that I haven't done for years (meaning, I forgot almost about the brush works ã… _ã… )
Another hard part was the choosing of right colors, since the overall environmental atmosphere was monochromatic. So in the end, I decide to place bright primary colors on the pipes and cables on the walls and floors, so it may give poppy feeling on the grayish environment.

Environmental Design

Without Glass mantle

With glass mantle

This is the design for the previous project that I have started and finished two years ago. I wanted to develop a environment that can be used in all kinds of harmonics and themes and this is what I came up with. All of the subjects were modeled in 3Ds MAX. I'm still figuring out how to edit this in High Quality since the previous rendering was too grainy and slow.

Slug God (Modeling nearly Complete)

It took very long time to place each part of the character in one place. Manage to finish most of the basic anatomy of the creature. All it needs is to add editional parts that covers the flat parts of creature's main body and once its done add some basic movementst to it. All of them may be done in after Holloween (best guess judged from my technical abilities with MAYA)

Black Bird Project (Almost Done)

The first of my modeling projects is in verge of completion. All of the parts for the automobile were built separately in MAYA and was imported into one file for assembling. The parts for the frontal ( head lights, bumpers, and extra safeguard gears) and the side portion (doorway and waist portion) is still in production, and may be completed in next week and ready for the final assemblage. Meanwhile, I manage to carry out the first rendering sequence and even though the overall resolution of the model is still little grainy, it is okay for the first sequence. The final rendering may be carried out in about before Halloween.

Musician (Tonal Designs)

These are the drawn scenes taken from the Introduction, Rising Action, Climax, and Resolution parts of my short film project. All pictures were thought out through various scenes and depicted in pen and pencils, before it was scanned to computer and made few make ups from Adobe Photoshop. I tried to make each scenes dramatic and moody as possible, through thinking of monochromatic environment with atmosphere, almost absent of bright colors. (except for the Musician's eyes and the color of the flower).
