Nautilus Creature (Photoshop Color Composition Experiment)

 I made these while playing with multiplying layer function of the photoshop. I came across the picture of this soothing underwater picture with streaming spotlight. I thought it's quiet suitable to let my creature to live in so while clicking, twitching, and painting this and that... I manage to pull these off. I'm quiet interested to this newfound skill and planning to use them often to my later creatures :)

Here it is folks!!! My first attempt to create a imaginary creature through 3D software:) I had so much fun separating each essential parts (model texture alike) and put it all together. This practice&experiment greatly helped me to play around and practice using shapes/colors as well as learning new skills. Just can't wait to build next creature model which I'll start tomorrow (By the way this creature is the first of the series of experimental creature designs which I'll also use it for the demo reel).

Water Dragon Character Chart

The Character chart for 3D modeling of the Sea Dragon. Most of the concept and motifs are from the basic outlook of the amphibians and the deep dwelling ocean organisms such as the deep sea angler. Instead of the reptilian feature that most dragonlike creatures are depicted, I decided to work more to the native aquatic creatures such as fishes and amphibians.

Here's some latest Creature sketches that I did during my spare time. Recently I become interested in concept of transformation, so for this particular creature I gave it a face that can change based on its aggression level. 

Parts for my first Hand Built Computer

Finally, after waiting 2 weeks. All the parts are here. I'm currently remodeling my room into 3D workstation and I recently learned about basic parts and functions of the computer required for 3D graphic design. I can't wait to built my first computer and I will make sure to send picture of the complete computer.

I pray that the completion of my first official work station is a beginning of my career as 3D artist. :)
