Parts for the Giant Ship

Giant Ship

The Giant Ship that I mentioned in previous blog. Unlike the smalle aircraft, the parts of this models were build seperately in 3Ds MAX and assembled into one (Just like how Aircraft Carriers and Battleships are built).

White Light Spacepod

The model of the Spacecraft that I made in 3Ds MAX for my private short film project with is still under progress. This model was created along with the larger aircraft which is also part of the year old project.

More sketches

More concept sketches that I've found in my scatchbook. I really wish to make them in 3D animation, when my computer skill reach the level great enough to.

Slug God (continuing project)

Modeling a creature to neck was quiet easy. However, as it gets to the body, it start to make few loosing screws zyncs. Always save the file everytime you complete a part.

Musician (Facial chart and pose sheets)

Tip of the day: Try to act out each poses of the character yourself before you draw the actual poses. It helps you think like a character as it make each of its pose.

The Musician (Model sheet)

At first, I tried to draw the section lines with pencil, but not only it was difficult to draw a straight line, but also it didn't gave me the precise proportion of the character, so instead, I copy the original file of the character and divided it, using the line  tool in photoshop.

The Musician (Character Modeling project)

This is the Character that I created for my school's short film preproduction project.
At first, I draw its basic skeletal structure with pencil, and I scanned it and added the
main body parts with Adobe Photoshop. This is also the first official character that I have
created through original animation preproduction steps (And realized how helpful it is during work :-)).

More concept sketches

Concept sketches of Lovecraftian creatures from my sketchbook.

Concept sketches

The concept sketch that I have drawn in pencil on my sketchbook. These are the concept of the entities that I might create in 3D once my skill in MAYA is improved.

Table Watch (interior parts)

Table Watch (Exterior Shell parts)

Lead

Outer Mantle

Shell Base

Table Watch

Another object that interested me was the clock parts, intrigued by how cogwheels rotate next to another, thus forming the endless cycle of time. This project was inspired by the concept of the clock's parts and functions, which I have created a new form of the time recording device called, the table watch.

Heater Design

Concept Sketch

Although I'm not a thorough mechanic major, I like the basic features of machineries of every kind, and have doodled some of the concept of the mechanics of my own. This is own of the first 3D mechanic design I did through Solidworks Pro and I got the most of the ideas of making something that represents the concept of the machine's function from the workshops in MICA (places like prototyping room or Wood shops in Fox building basement). All of my first mechanic designs, I have given the names based upon the features of the existing mechanic objects that I have gain the ideas, and this own in case is called the Heater, since the pipe like interior is based upon my idea I got from the interior features in my house's heater.
